At VBC Albuquerque, children and youth are not the future of the church — they are the church, right now. We are committed to teaching God's Word faithfully to every age, rooting our kids in the gospel, and walking alongside families as they raise the next generation of Vietnamese believers in Albuquerque and beyond.

What We Offer
Sunday School for Children
Sundays · 10:30 AM
Ages Birth – 11
Age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship songs, and Scripture memory run alongside the main service so children can learn at their own level. Teachers use bilingual English and Vietnamese instruction to honor our heritage while reaching the next generation.
Youth Group
Sundays · 10:30 AM
Ages 12 – 18
Our youth meet during the main service hour for expository teaching, small group discussion, and prayer. We want teenagers to own their faith — not inherit it passively — and to find genuine community in the body of Christ before they leave for college or the workforce.
Vacation Bible School (VBS)
Summer · Date TBD annually
Ages 4 – 12
VBS is one of the highlights of our church year — a week of Bible teaching, games, crafts, and community outreach. We open VBS to the broader Albuquerque neighborhood, welcoming Vietnamese and non-Vietnamese families alike. Past VBS programs have drawn families from across the city.

Birth – Pre-K
Little Ones
Nursery care and early childhood Bible stories in a safe, loving environment.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
Children
Gospel-centered lessons, Scripture memory, and age-appropriate worship every Sunday.
6th – 8th Grade
Middle School
Deeper Bible study and discussion as students begin asking harder questions about faith and identity.
9th – 12th Grade
High School
Expository teaching, peer community, and preparation for life beyond high school — grounded in God's Word.
Volunteer
Serve with Our Kids & Youth
Our children and youth programs run because faithful volunteers show up every week. No formal ministry training required — just a love for kids, a heart for the gospel, and a willingness to serve. All volunteers complete a background check per church policy.
Sunday School Teacher
Lead or co-lead a children's class on Sunday mornings. Curriculum provided.
Youth Group Helper
Assist with youth discussions, outings, and discipleship alongside lead teachers.
VBS Crew Leader
Lead a small group of kids through the week of VBS activities each summer.
Nursery Volunteer
Care for our youngest members during the Sunday service so their parents can worship.
