Our Calling
A Church Sent Out
VBC Albuquerque was itself a mission — a small band of Vietnamese refugees who chose to plant their lives in Albuquerque, go to their neighbors, and share the gospel. That same outward impulse has never left us. We believe every member of this church is a missionary wherever God has placed them — at work, in their neighborhood, in their family, and potentially across the world.
Local Outreach
Serving Albuquerque
Since 1994, VBC has been embedded in Albuquerque's Vietnamese community — beginning in a neighborhood marked by poverty and hardship. That commitment to serve our neighbors with both practical care and the gospel continues today.
Global Missions
To the Ends of the Earth
As a Vietnamese congregation, we carry a particular burden for the Vietnamese diaspora and for the nation of Vietnam. We support missionaries and partner organizations working to spread the gospel in Southeast Asia and beyond.

How You Can Participate
01
Pray
The most powerful thing any member can do for missions is pray. Join us each Sunday as we pray for missionaries, for Vietnam, for Albuquerque, and for open doors for the gospel.
02
Give
Your financial giving directly supports our local outreach events and the missionaries we partner with globally. Every gift — large or small — participates in the work of the Great Commission.
03
Go
Whether across the street or across the world, every believer is called to go. Talk to Pastor Tan Thai about short-term mission opportunities and how to be intentional about sharing the gospel in your own daily life.
Join the Mission
You don't have to go overseas to be a missionary. Start where you are — with your neighbors, your coworkers, your family. Come to a Sunday service and discover how VBC is living out the Great Commission in Albuquerque.
