Trust in God's Plan – Part 2

The first section of the sermon establishes the theological foundation of God's plan. Through Jeremiah 29:11, the pastor emphasizes that the Lord declares He knows the plan He has designed for each person—a plan of peace, not disaster. God has predetermined a future and hope for all who believe in Him, and this promise is not based on circumstances or personal success.

The second section develops the doctrine of predestination and glorification. From Ephesians 1:9-11, the sermon proclaims that before the foundation of the world, God chose us in Christ by His love, predestining us to become His adopted children. Romans 8:28-30 provides complete evidence: those called according to God's purpose will be justified and glorified. This plan does not depend on our works but rests on God's calling and predestination.

The third section emphasizes the distinction between God's choice and human choice. Joshua 24:14-15 and Matthew 10:32-33 demonstrate that although God has a comprehensive plan, humans must still choose to obey Him sincerely. Blessing comes to those who hear and follow His commandments (Deuteronomy 11:26-28, Leviticus 26:3-4), but cursing comes to those who reject Him.

The fourth section applies the message to practical life through Paul's story in Acts 27:25-31. Although Paul is confident that everything will happen exactly as the Lord has spoken, he must still act practically by preventing sailors from abandoning ship. This illustrates that trusting in God's plan does not mean passively giving up, but rather acting responsibly in God's wisdom.

The fifth section concludes with practical exhortation. The congregation must grasp the assurance that God has a good purpose, embrace faith in His predetermined plan, and act with firm confidence. Obedience and personal choice to serve God are essential elements for receiving blessing and the fulfillment of the good plan God has ordained for each life.
