Coming to the Light of Eternity

Shepherds witnessed the glory of the Lord shining around them when the angel announced good news of great joy. Wise men from the East saw His star and came to worship the newborn King. These events are not merely historical narratives but evidence of the arrival of the true Object of Scripture's light into the world.
The conclusion of the sermon applies the message to the spiritual life of the congregation. Whoever has received Jesus Christ is given the right to become children of God, those born of God rather than of blood or human will. This eternal light is not an abstract theory but a spiritual reality that can be experienced by each person who receives this Light. The Gospel of Christmas invites humanity to escape the shadow of sin and step into the light of eternal life.
