The sermon emphasizes that building up the Church is not merely about structure or administration but about God's people being nourished by God's Word. Reading, explaining, and following Scripture is foundational to a strong Church, and believers must be taught to understand and live by this Word. External teaching (spoken by pastors or teachers) combined with the inner illumination of the Holy Spirit will help believers grow in faith and live a life of righteousness, full of compassion and humility before God.
