He "caused the east wind to blow upon the sea all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left. And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen. And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the Lord looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians" (Exodus 14:21-24). The Lord not only performed this miracle to bring His people across the Red Sea, but He also prevented their enemies from pursuing them. God performs great and difficult deeds beyond what we can imagine. He Himself has also given us humans the wisdom to create structures and means of transportation, like the Snake Bridge, so that horse-drawn boats could cross to the other side without needing to disconnect the tow ropes. He is the All-Wise and Almighty One—there is nothing He cannot do!

Whenever we see or cross a bridge, let us remember that God Himself is "the Way" for us, and let us wholeheartedly give thanks to God for providing us with sophisticated and modern technical means that help improve our lives!
