# Messenger of Peace

In recent weeks, the British Royal Family announced news of two important members of the royal household facing serious illness: First, Princess Kate (wife of Prince William, the eldest son of King Charles), and secondly, King Charles himself. The King has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment at this time. Newsweek magazine published an article expressing "Prince Harry's 'Honorable' Moment After Years of Conflict." Prince Harry is the youngest son of King Charles. Father and son had unresolved disagreements, as Prince Harry disclosed unfavorable matters within the royal family during press interviews and left the British royal family with his wife to settle in California, United States. The two had been estranged for several years, but upon hearing that his father, King Charles, had been diagnosed with cancer, Prince Harry flew to England to see his father, and this was an opportunity to "make amends" for the pain he had caused. Although their meeting took place over a short time, this encounter was viewed by many commentators as a positive sign in their relationship after years of tension. Moreover, his concern for his father's health, according to the press, is considered an honorable action for Prince Harry.

In each of our lives, surely we all have moments of "conflict," disagreements, and troubles in our relationships with one another, even within our own families and among our brothers and sisters in the Lord's House. This matter is something natural among people, as the ancients say, "even bowls in a basket must make noise." However, these conflicts have their degrees. We may disagree with others or be displeased with what they do, but we should not remain angry for long and create barriers in our hearts that separate us from one another and hinder God's work. We should not wait until a great crisis—a disaster like cancer—occurs before we make peace with our brothers and sisters. Perhaps forgiveness and reconciliation are very difficult to practice, but this is what God desires us to do. We are commissioned to be "ambassadors" of God, bringing God's peace to help all people believe in God and restore broken relationships with Him. The Apostle Paul reminded the Corinthian believers, saying, "Now then, we are Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God" (2 Corinthians 5:20). Living in harmony with one another is beautiful and pleasing to God, as the Psalmist said long ago, "How good and pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity!" (Psalm 133:1), and God will bless us as He has promised, "Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God" (Matthew 5:9). Therefore, "If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone" (Romans 12:18). Do not delay until there are no more opportunities! May we ask God to forgive our weakness, and help us live with a spirit of forgiveness and love as He has forgiven and loved us unto death; transform our hearts so we may live according to His will and in harmony with all people, so that God's love may be revealed to those around us through our lives of harmony and love! Amen!

Following the example of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for the love of all people, Restoring us to God, In deep communion everywhere! Loving, forgetting all wrongs, Forgiving one another, according to Scripture, Supporting and caring, moving forward together, Peace, blessings, forever enduring!
